For Research Use Only.
AlphaThera’s LED PX3 is a next-generation 365 nm LED UV crosslinker uses non-damaging blacklight (365 nm) to enable the efficient and site-specific labeling of antibodies with all oYo-Link® products.
The LED PX3 uses non-damaging 365 nm blacklight and an advanced LED module to provide precise and uniform UV exposure without the use of mercury lamps. Compared with conventional bulb-based UV systems, the LED PX3 produces less heat while maintaining controlled irradiation performance.

Intended use:
The LED PX3 is intended for in vitro laboratory research use only.
The device is not intended for:
Note: oYo-Link products are compatible with a wide range of long-wavelength (365 nm) UV photo-crosslinking devices. Suitable alternatives include UVP UVL-56 and UVP CL-1000L. See the list of suitable alternative photo-crosslinking devices here. Please note that no UK-compatible power supply is provided.

| Notes | This LED device is only to be used for in-vitro laboratory research and not to be used for human or clinical samples. Avoid working in moist or humid environments. Always disconnect the main power cord before cleaning the unit or replacing the fuse. WARNING: The blacklight bulbs used in this device emit long wavelength ultraviolet (UV) light (365 nm), which can pose potential health risks including injuries to the skin and eyes. Please exercise caution when the device is running and avoid eye or skin exposure by wearing UV-blocking safety glasses and protective clothing during operation. |
We haven’t tested the device for other materials and have the concern that the intensity is not sufficient for that purpose. We only use it for antibody-oYo-Link conjugation and the bulb’s energy is only required for 6w-18w, and the intensity is not adjustable.
The lid of the LED PX3 device contains an integrated safety interlock. Opening the lid automatically disables UV output to prevent accidental exposure.
Yes, the LED PX3 controls UV dosage through a combination of exposure time and lamp intensity, allowing you to optimize photocrosslinking for each reagent protocol.
We receommend 120 minutes (2 hours) for maximum conjugation efficiency.
No, the LED PX3 uses non-damaging 365 nm blacklight and an advanced LED module to provide precise and uniform UV exposure without the use of mercury lamps. Compared with conventional bulb-based UV systems, the LED PX3 produces less heat while maintaining controlled irradiation performance.
The UV Intensity Sensor is an optional add-on. It allows measurement of the UV intensity inside the irradiation chamber during operation to support QC, reproducibility and protocol validation.
The LED PX3 has the capacity for up to 64 samples at a time.
